A Lightbulb Moment
Ratio EV’s io8 charging system proved ideal for the site, offering elegant design with built-in illumination alongside practical functionality.
Three io8 dual charging units were installed earlier this year, providing six charging sockets and, thanks to London EV Chargers, the infrastructure for an additional six sockets for future expansion.
The io8’s dynamic load management system protects critical site power needs, while QR code-based access controls who is able to use the chargers.
Not only that, the system is friendly for the business and users too, with app-based access for drivers and integration with the Wevo back-office management system.

In just 11 working days (and despite the typical British weather providing an extra challenge), installation was complete.
Meticulous planning from London EV Chargers, including two detailed site surveys, power requirement analysis, load management planning, ground scanning for underground utilities, site preparation and safety set-up, meant the project proceeded smoothly without technical complications.
